Tuesday, we released Typesetter alongside a pair of blog posts.

Typesetter is a handy drag-and-drop tool for testing your fonts in the browser. It accompanied our posts on multicolor fonts and SS Emoji. In the latter, we released a set of open source multicolor fonts and thought you’d like somewhere to quickly try them out.

Feed it font files — Typesetter accepts TTF, OTF, WOFF, EOT, and SVG fonts. It uses local storage (nothing is uploaded) and is able to store several fonts simultaneously. Use your arrow keys to navigate between the fonts in your list.

We based Typesetter on a tool by Pablo Impallari and Pablo Cosgaya called the Font Testing Page, itself based on Fontdragr, each released under an MIT License.
